Q: How many vacation days are allotted per year? 

     A: Full time students receive five vacation days per year.

Q: Do the children have outdoor play time?

      A: The children go outside for large motor and free play twice a day weather permitting.

Q: What are your child care rates?

     A: The rates vary depending on age.  Please see our rate sheet on the enrollment page.

Q: What is the staff to child ratios?

     A: The staff to child ratios are as follows: infant room 1:4, young toddler room 1:4, older toddler room 1:8, preschool 1:10

Q: Does my child have to take a nap?

     A: Each child is allowed a period of time in the afternoon to take a nap.  Each child has a different sleep schedule and we allow your child to sleep as long as their body needs it.  If your child does not normally nap, he/she can sit on their mat and read quietly or do puzzles. State law requires that the center  allow children a period of time to nap if needed.

Q: Do you supply infants formula, diapers and wipes?

      A: No, with each child having specific needs, it is in the best interest of  the child for the parent to provide their own specific brands.

Q: Is there a registration fee?

      A: Yes, there is a one time registration fee of $25.00 per family.

Q: When is the registration due? 

      A: The registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.

Q: When is tuition due?

      A: Tuition is due the first day of attendance each week.

Q: Do you take assistance for child care payments?

      A: Yes, please contact the Department of Human Services to see if you qualify.           

Q: What are your hours of operation?

      A: We are open Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Q: Do you have a food service program?

      A: Our center provides children with their morning and afternoon snacks.  Parents will provide packed lunches with ice packs in lunch bags for their child.

Q: Are your staff members CPR & First Aid certified?

      A: Yes, we require all of our staff members to be CPR and First Aid certified, which is required with the State of Michigan.  The center also performs background checks on all of its employees.
